Thankfully our Autumn weather still means plenty of outdoor activity to be enjoyed, and there’s plenty to choose from these April school holidays together with some indoor fun. Here’s our round up of Perth’s best value activities, free events and programs to help you get out and about whilst saving money!
Perth holiday programs and activities

School holidays just wouldn’t be the same without a trip to the movies, and we’re spoiled for choice in April!

This is gymnastics and gladiator style circuit activities like no other! Kids are kept on the move constantly, with obstacle courses that involve jumping, climbing, swinging, rotating and somersaulting, so you can be certain that your kids will get a great workout, have a ton of fun and be exhausted at the end of the day.
For ages 5-12 only and you can drop the kids off or you can stay and watch from upstairs. Choose from two sessions daily: 11am- 1pm or 1pm- 3pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
Just $15 per child. Payments required when booking, and bookings are essential. Sessions for 12 month to 5 year olds also available for $7.50 and no bookings required.
Have a great day of fun at the Subi Street Party. Last year the event attracted 35,000 people and this year will be even bigger and better with more music, more food, more entertainment, more bars and more art, fashion and shopping. The event will take place from 3pm on Saturday April 8 on Rokeby Road and surrounding streets.
The future of basketball training has arrived and it’s equipped with motion sensor lights! These April school holidays, put your skills to the test with our interactive basketball drills experience. For fans of the animated cartoon series, get along to Karrinyup Shopping Centre from April 14-22 and join in the FREE fun with the PJ Masks live stage shows. Plus, meet and greet the PJ Masks team! See link for stage show times.
On April 14 from 11am, the local community is invited to help complete the ‘paint by numbers ‘mural, which is on a wall inside the shopping centre.
Plus there will be a range of free family entertainment to enjoy, including face painting, an animal farm, where you can cuddle a rabbit, guinea pig or chicken and pat a goat or sheep, and a Bricks 4 Kids Lego workshop.
This is sure to be a fun-filled day out for all Perth families!
